The colour coded Qur'an is intended to facilitate and enhance the reading of the Qur'an with tajweed.
It is produced by colour coding the various rules. For example where ikhfa is to be observed, the letters are coloured with blue; where qalqala is to be observed red is used.
A legend at the bottom of every page describes the colour codes providing for a quick reference. A supplement describes the rules of tajweed in detail and explains the colour coding system.
